ExxonMobil Pipeline Incident – Mayflower, Ark.

On March 29, 2013 at 2:37 p.m., a 20-inch pipeline ruptured and leaked approximately 5,000 barrels of crude in the town of Mayflower, Ark. The affected line is part of ExxonMobil's Pegasus Pipeline System, which transports crude from Patoka, Ill. To Nederland, Texas.

PHMSA is investigating the cause of the failure. PHMSA's investigation is being led by the Southwest Region, based in Houston, TX, and the entire agency is providing support.
